We were referred by The Manna House on this project. A couple living on disability due to one being a double amputee and the other injured were in need of a new wheelchair ramp. The one that they had was not sufficient and unsafe. This is the what the original accommodations looked like. We also noticed the concrete sidewalk was not sufficient for wheelchair access. So we determined they qualified for our services and took on the project. With the help of The Manna House in Midlothian by helpi

Here Richard is helping mix and pour the concrete. We love it when our families chip in and help with the work. Many hands make light work.

Richard working hard laying the deck on the ramp. He was a great help.

The smile on Joy's face was well worth all the work.

This project started off by us just dropping off a swing the homeowner purchased from a garage sale. She mentioned that her gate needed to be repaired because her dog was getting out. Well we couldn't have that. Now she can let her puppy out in the yard and feel safe. And we couldn't resist getting a "Mr. Willson" shot hahaha.
